"Konyang University -- a new university with great hope for the future." In a new century governed by the trend of internationalization, information technology and regionalism, universities today are faced with the necessity of offering students a definite plan of action for their future. Since its foundation in 1991 under the motto of "Truth, Creativity and Service", the university, despite its short history, has continuously endeavored to improve itself. It has also made every effort to distinguish itself from other universities. With an emphasis on character education, the university strives to graduate students with the knowledge and virtues necessary to function as productive members of society.
