Global Business College

The Department of Global Business provides in-depth knowledge on HR, marketing, treasure bills, accounting, production management, international management, and distribution. This department produces leaders who can, in the rapidly changing global environment, gain vision and objectivity, apply the theories in real life, and cooperate with others in an organizational setting. The department helps each student find the field that best suits them and provides opportunities like acquiring licenses and participating in internships to cultivate business professionals with the ability to adapt to work quickly. Graduates go into various departments in companies that include distribution, accounting, and market data analysis, or become journalists, public servants, or enter graduate school.

Department of Marketing Business

The objective of the Department of Marketing Business lies in cultivating marketing professionals since the demand for them is high. Lower year students enroll in basic business administration and marketing courses including HR, accounting, finance, and e-business. Upper year students study in-depth subjects such as product mangement, price management, facilitation management, distribution management, advertising, high-tech marketing, social media marketing, and business sales. With the goal of fostering professional marketers, the department provides various marketing license-related courses and offers OTJ training-centered programs.

Finance

The Department of Finance aims to produce professionals in finance with good character and intelligence. On the basis of acquiring communicative competence in foreign languages, the students in this department study advanced theories and practices of finance by enrolling in systemized courses and RC-based extracurricular activities. In the curriculum, students study basic theories like economics, accounting, and statistics as well as advanced financial theories. Foreign language license courses and financial license courses help students obtain the qualifications required in a business setting. This department is recognized by AFPK to operate basic courses for CFP licensing. Various professional licenses regarding finance such as CIIA and CRA are offered as a specialized program to foster professionals in PB, asset management, and credit analysis. Graduates actively work in various areas in domestic or overseas financial institutions and enterprises, public organizations, and research institutes such as banks and financial institutions like Hana Bank, KEB, KB Kookmin Bank, IBK, Daewoo Securities, Kium Securities, Nonghyup, Saemaul Bank, and Shinhyup, as well as public organizations and conglomerates including the Ministry of Planning & Budget at the National Assembly, the Korea Asset Management Corporation, Hyundai Oil Bank, Eland, Sambo, and Soulbrain.

Taxation

The Department of Taxation aims to produce professionals in taxation who are competent in handling accounting and tax data processing to meet the demand of companies and government tax offices. Students study accounting, tax laws, financial accounting, tax administration, business administration, and economics in depth. Pre-OJT and OJT courses are offered as regular courses in order to accumulate on-site experience. Through the curriculum of this department, students can enroll in courses that require taking examinations to become government tax officers. Such curriculum enables students to handle all company tax-related tasks, thus manufacturers as well as financial institutions welcome graduates. Students have been doing well on the tax accountant examination. Graduates actively work in various fields – for the central and local government, financial institutions, and public organizations.

Global Hotel & Tourism

With the aim of producing professionals that contribute to the development of the international tourism industry, this division focuses on providing foreign language education and field business skills education. Field business skills are reinforced by project courses, practical subjects in the curriculum, and OTJ training, the department produces professionals for the international tourism industry. Graduates go into different fields that include hotels and resorts, travel agencies, airlines, medical tourism, restaurant business, public offices in tourism, tourism teachers, G.O., and wedding planning and consulting.
