The Department of Finance aims to produce professionals in finance with good character and intelligence. On the basis of acquiring communicative competence in foreign languages, the students in this department study advanced theories and practices of finance by enrolling in systemized courses and RC-based extracurricular activities. In the curriculum, students study basic theories like economics, accounting, and statistics as well as advanced financial theories. Foreign language license courses and financial license courses help students obtain the qualifications required in a business setting. This department is recognized by AFPK to operate basic courses for CFP licensing. Various professional licenses regarding finance such as CIIA and CRA are offered as a specialized program to foster professionals in PB, asset management, and credit analysis. Graduates actively work in various areas in domestic or overseas financial institutions and enterprises, public organizations, and research institutes such as banks and financial institutions like Hana Bank, KEB, KB Kookmin Bank, IBK, Daewoo Securities, Kium Securities, Nonghyup, Saemaul Bank, and Shinhyup, as well as public organizations and conglomerates including the Ministry of Planning & Budget at the National Assembly, the Korea Asset Management Corporation, Hyundai Oil Bank, Eland, Sambo, and Soulbrain.
